Peter was born in Czech Republic . He migrated to Canada with his parents when his was a teenager. He came to New Zealand for a working holiday. He found a Project Manager’s position at Telecom and because he loved New Zealand ’s natural environment and outdoor lifestyle, he hoped that he could settle in New Zealand.
Since he did not fully understand New Zealand ’s immigration polices, he came to our office for assistance and subsequently authorised us to be his representative for his permanent residence application.
During the processing of his application, his case officer questioned his nationality and his qualification, and accordingly, the fate of his application looked to be a decline. However, we contacted Czech Republic ’s Embassy in Canberra , Australia , contacted his previous employers and wrote a thorough and powerful explanatory letter which the case officer finally accepted.
Despite the case officer’s initial concersn and our endeavours to address the issues, Peter’s residence application was approved only four months after lodgement.
