-Permanent Residence
Jessica married Jack early last year, and then wanted to apply for permanent residence in New Zealand . In the middle of the year, they came to see us and authorised us to apply permanent residence for Jessica.
However, Jessica and Jack had not been together long enough to meet INZ minimum requirement for a genuine and stable partnership, so in the interim, we assisted Jessica and Jack to prepare the correct supporting documents to prove that their relationship met all of the requirements.
When they had amassed sufficient time together, we then lodged Jessica’s permanent residence application. During the processing of her application, we communicated with the case officer to address concerns raised by the case officer, but, we successfully secured a work permit for her, allowing her to stay in New Zealand legally, and after the INZ standard application processing deadline was met, Jessica’s permanent residence application was approved.
