After successfully securing a work visa for Mr. Wu, he traveled to New Zealand and started his employment as a Chinese Chef.
However, he missed his wife and two sons so much that it was affecting his work. He desperately needed his family to join him in New Zealand and so he came to us again for help. With his authorisation, we lodged his wife’s work visa application and his sons’ student visa applications.
The applications did not proceed smoothly at first, because the case officer in Beijing had concerns regarding Mr. Wu’s employment. We submitted a large number of additional documents to support his case (many of which we assisted his employer to prepare) and we liaised with the case officer frequently.
Within a month, Mr Wu’s wife’s and sons’ applications were approved, and Mr. Wu and his family were reunited in New Zealand . As a family, they are now very happily settled and New Zealand is their new home.
