What is the Long Term Skills Shortage List?
The Long Term Skills Shortage List is a list of occupations that are in critical or absolute shortage all over New Zealand. The Long Terms Skills Shortage list is commonly used in the Work to Residency policy and in the SMC. In the SMC, you may claim bonus points if your skilled employment, recognised work experience, and/or recognised qualification, is on the Long Term Skills Shortage list.
